The Backspins Academy utilizes our technology to gain optimal performance for all levels of players or start learning the game of golf from the beginning to refining dedicated areas of your golf game. We utilize data collected from some of the top professionals in the game. We develop goals, targets, and practice plans to show improvement and progress.


We're also proud to be an authorized fitting partner with Cleveland, Srixon, and XXIO Golf. Backspins has all the tools to deliver the best possible fit for your game. Experience a tour-level fitting process with equipment trusted by some of the best players in the game like Brooks Koepka and Hideki Matsuyama. 

Adult lessons start at $80 with members saving 15% on every lesson.

Youth and military lessons are $65.

Joshua Williams is proud to teach golf lessons at Backspins in Sedro-Woolley

Joshua Williams

Mr. Williams has spent 20 years in the golf and  hospitality industry and played and taught golf at the College and Professional levels with students on the PGA , LPGA and LIV golf tour's. After graduating college with a degree in Business management Joshua worked as an assistant golf professional training with his cousin who was also a golf professional. Joshua has served as a golf professional, Director of golf, General Manager and has worked in corporate development and branding for numerous Fortune 500 companies. He loves helping his students understand their game better and takes great pride in helping everyone play their best.

Joshua is on the Nike golf Swoosh advisory team. In this role he has served as an advisor to the NFL alumni association and worked with the PGA, LPGA , Champions tour, Top Golf  and WEB.com players, tournaments, and activation teams to grow the game of golf across the nation.

Tom Perry Is Proud To Teach Golf Lessons At Backspins In Sedro-Woolley

With over 40 years of experience teaching golfers of all skill levels, Tom Perry brings a lifetime of passion and expertise to the game. A former collegiate golfer, after winning multiple collegiate events, Tom was nominated for the college athlete of the year. Tom transitioned into a successful career in the automobile business before moving on to develop recreational and residential properties. His diverse background enriches his teaching style, combining discipline, business acumen, and a love for golf. 

 
As a player, Tom has achieved numerous accolades, and shot course records at two courses, including the prestigious Los Angeles Country Club. Tom has won multiple club championships, captured two (PNGA) championships plus additional local and regional titles across the Western United States. His exceptional skills also earned him a coveted spot on the Hudson Cup team, where he proudly represented his region. 
 
Tom's instructional approach blends his deep understanding of the game with a personalized method that caters to each golfer's unique goals. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player, Tom's guidance will help you refine your skills, build confidence, and elevate your game.
